The bronco looks so sad without it's wheels on. And mising an axle.
Luxurious working conditions.

The 8.8, prepped for invasive surgery.

Nice shot of the Eaton E-locker sans cross pin. This is the last time you'll ever see it wearing a 3.55 ring gear.
New 4.56 ring gear installed on the E-locker. Notice that the cross pin can no longer slide out due to interference with the tips of the gear teeth. To the grinder!
Lousy picture, but you get the point. The ring gear teeth get the grinding, not the cross pin. It doesn't take much, I only removed about 1/16".
Look how much bigger the 3.55 pinion (top) is than the 4.56 pinion (bottom). Kind of freaked me out at first.

Freshly removed Dana 44 third member, upside down actually.
Third member freshly cleaned with new bearing races pressed in.
New 4.56 gears for the D44. They look really small when compared to the 8.8 gears, especially the pinion.
Old stock case, new case with spiders and side gears installed.
On second thought, let's not use those spiders and side gears.

Aussie locker exploded view, pretty simple.
Aussie locker put togeather. It's not much more than a handfull.
New carrier wearing new 4.56 ring gear and Aussie Locker.
Third member reinstalled in TTB. Don't know why that orange mark is on there.
