By pulling the now loose manifold forward I was able to disconnect the O2 sensor very easily.

This made removing the old gasket material easy as pie.

A trial fit of these Mustang shorties was the next step. Two bolts was enough to hold it in place.

I just drilled out a hole and enlarged it with a die grinder and stone, then tried the O2 bung/nut.
