Thanks for the compliment. Bowriders are great for fitting a lot of people on a smaller boat, but once you get to 24+ feet, I prefer the cabin. For one thing, it gives a large, lockable area for things like tubes, skis, and personal items in case you ever dock the boat at a restaurant to eat dinner or something. I also like the look of the cabins better, and of course you always have the option of "sleeping" in them

The boat is pretty big, so I think it'd probably make too much wake for pulling skiiers, but I haven't tried it yet. Tubing is a blast, however. I have the 454 Magnum with a Bravo 3, so it has no problem getting out of the water. I've had it going 55 with 10 people on board.... it really can cook. I haven't heard of any specific issues related to Crownlines, but I haven't done a lot of research either, so you might have more luck with that question over on the Crownline owner's forum.

As far as finding a used one, I'd suggest just scouring the web. I found mine on BoatTraderOnline, but I also spent some time looking on boats.com. Good luck!

I like your Crownline. I've been looking for something similar. Trying to decide between cuddy or bowrider. How does your cuddy do pulling skiiers or tubers? Top speed? Any problems that seem general with Crownline's? Any good places to find a decent used 266? Thanks!
