The story
Constructed from the remains of a 1979 Bronco and a 1950 cab and front clip, with a circa 1947 bed. Project required extensive fabrication, such as the steering column constructed from a 1983 Firebird column. Custom interior (under construction) with bucket seats from an unknown donor. Vehicle began as a reconstruction for an everyday driver and has evolved into an all-out resto/rod. Future mods include replacing tailgate with a 1939 Ford gate with V-8 logo, addition of 1953 Ford passenger car hubcaps, and black epoxy primer with flames. My goal is to street-rod the vehicle in the tradition of the late fifties-early sixties hot-rod style. More pictures will be added as work progresses. — Bob Lawrence
