About the 1970–1971 Ford Torino

A Ford Torino from the generation archive from the generation archive

The Torino (1970-1971) generation rolls through this gallery in every stage of life — from a sharp orange '70 with a black hood scoop holding court at a car show to bare-metal restoration projects with engine bays wide open and undercarriages up on lifts. You'll find coupes parked waterside, vinyl-roofed '71s showing off their black-and-red-stripe interiors, and honest project cars with quarter panel damage, worn trunks, and torn-out carpeting that tell the real story of saving these Fords.

The story

Bought it CHEAP... need to drive to work somehow! Will tear it apart piece by peice next \summer(2004) and restomod it for tire smokin' action... wife calls it my "Hot Wheels", I call it "The Brick" as in gold brick, (it's original paint is still there) and it does nothuing but sit in driveway collecting dust right now!!! — 70Torino
