Patrick.. IF you run across another XJ Hp 30 let me know.. I am still going to get the gears from you but while I am debating the work on the YJ axle I am going to look for an XJ .. Just let me know if you see one.. As you know .. Gears are not important.. As I will have the YJ housiing and his carrier.
So all will be well there..

I'm not sure of the pricing & if either of us can afford this but....
I want a front locker. Trevor (guy with Red XJ) is planning on putting d60s under his rig, so he'll have a d30 (with an OX) & 29 spline 8.25 (I believe also locked) for sale. I know you wanted to get a new rear end as well .... so if you are interested why don't we buy both his d30 & 8.25. We can buy brackets to fit the 8.25 right under yours and I'll get his D30 meaning you get mine (course you'll get it cheaper since it doesn't have an OX in it). This way you'll also get 4.56s that you know are setup right... and mine has new ball joints on it 
I think this would benefit both of us. Course You could always just buy both of his and leave me out of the loop 
We'd both have spare shafts/parts for each other (I have spare 8.25s & d30s)
let me know what you think.

Sounds like a good plan .. BUt when is he looking to upgrade..
My ZJ is my DD and I need to fix it asap.. LEt me know when he responds to you .. and ask him how much he wants for those TJ flares he has on his rig.. He said he had new ones he was going to try to cut better . So I told him I would take the ones he had.. Forgot to get his number .. His sloppy cuts wont matter to me . I have the Laredo trim that sticks way out so I would have to cut more off anyway..

I emailed Trevor
he said he's looking to get $1100 (maybe we can talk him down a little) for both and hopes to have his stuff done by december, but I don't know when he'll be selling what he has. If he is doing it soon (maybe we can talk him into it) Then this would kick arse ...
That is purrty cheap IMO, would cost you at least $1000 to have the gears done F&R to 4.56 anyway .... If you are interested ...I'll put up a chunk for his front ...$250? .... then we buy both his and I take his d30 & you get mine ... would cost you $850 for 2 new axles with 4.56s
I've also asked him how much he'd want seperately if you only want a front then maybe I can buy his and sell you mine..... course then you're still gonna have to pay to regear to 4.10 and you still have the crap d44a so..... your call.

Ill have you know I have the super crap dana 35 with a no slip...LOL...
Sounds good .. However I am still looking.. If I come across something sooner I have to jump..
Like I said.. DD.. 
Would like to change them both though.. I could weld some angle to my frame and keep the leaf spring rear... That would make me what.... Better than stock.. Almost stock.... Have to pass this by La 4x4 ... LOL...

Yeah d35 ... we need to can that ... I have springs & shackles you can use too
Oh and I know Lance is selling his TJ Flares for $50 ..... what would you need em for? I have XJ flares you can have for dirty cheap ....

There are supposed to be little brackets that mount to the fender then the flare clips to them ... but it'd be easier to just use sheet metal screws and washers I'd think....
SO should I tell Trevor we are interested but it has to be ASAP?

Kinda in a holding pattern right now.. There is a guy on JU that is giving away a Hp Dana 30 I am working out shipping.. But I am not sure if its feasible to ship something that big and heavy..
Also not sure I can come up with that much money right now.. I had to buy a new Dryer on Sunday.
$500 kind of hurt the parts budget for a while..
Maybe I should get a student loan... 
I have also got a daughter in Catholic school and Balet class and Tap dance class ... all of these things are working against me... LOL... Damn you crappy society..... Why cant the public schools be good enough that I dont have to pay 4300 a year to feel good about where my daughter goes to school... (And she is only in Pre K I have a long way to go...LOL)
My point is .. I have alot going on right now. And my priority is gettting it back on the road.. I would love to have those but not sure how things are going to be from one day to the next...
ON the other side.. Pics of the fender flares and how they mount. Please..
That I can afford.. Also how much do you want for them.??
I will keep you informed on my financial situation .. Like I said its hard to say from one day to the next how things will go.. BUt I do need to fix my truck ASAP. If that means spending money..

If you can get one for free it would be stupid for you to do that .... I just figured it would probably help us both out....
Don't have pics of the flares or how they mount ... when you come to get the gears I'll show em to you.... If you can hook up my welder they're yours fo free...
