Does anyone know of any 14FF's for sale with 4.10 or numerically higher gearing??? I'm thinking I might have to go with some beef to handle something 35 or bigger.

its the way the axle sits in the housing a semi float is a 3/4ton and a full float is a 1 ton. a semifloat only has i set of bearings and uses a c-clip to hold it into the carrier

yeah but that is generaly speaking sometimes 14bsf was on a 1/2ton and sometimes a 14bff has ben seen on a 3/4 ton those axles do come with a price though they weigh alot and have a lower ground clearance, i would rather have josh's set up with a 12bsf and d44 instead especally since ive still got 10bolts front and rear

bolts on the axle cover (gear cover)
hoss, you need a 60 front, 14bolt rear fo sho with your tires.
even then 44's are hard on those axles.
