My son and I are restoring a 79 Bronco XLT Ranger. We also have a parts truck. I have some questions 1. How to tell a 351 M from 400 ?
2. Is there a tag on the rear end with gear ratios on it .
3. What is the best way to polish the chrome? on the grille shell and on the side of the
truck?
4. The parts truck is running with 400 ? C-6 NP 205 Dana 44 front axle. what are these parts worth?
5. I have a 79 F-150 thats in great shape except for paint. How hard would it be to make a 4x4 with these parts?

Thanks for your time

Just recently ran across a 79 bronco in great shape, no body rust, has the 400 has new motor and tranny (not rebuild). Only prob is the guy says it has a 203 t-case that has gone bad. He only wanted $1,500.00 for it. It's in Arkansas on Hwy 64 between Wynn(not sure how to spell it) and augusta. If i'd only had the money.....
Anyway, my point to this ramble is that it might be easier to find something like this than to try to convert and modify. Hope this helps
