Picked it up today.. Has 2 broken shock mounts.. So I have to cut mine off and weld them on the new one.. Gonna be a long day tommorow.. Have to get a move on .. Gotta get it done and regeared by Friday...
 This is me all weekend and all next week..
I have got to get this done.. I am not going to miss the wheelfest..No Way no how....
Even If I have to wheel my mountain bike..LOL..

I dont have a 44 rear... I wish I did.. I did however pick out about 15 ford 8.8 rear axles.. I also found a ton of 9 inchers.. One of those will be my next upgrade.. (Unless I find a 44..) I only found one this weekend and it was in real bad shape.. IT is super easy to find 8.8 and 9 inchers so thats probobly what I will go with.. Not to soon though..Gotta get some time out of this damn thing..
By the Way Patrick.. I got axles with my housing.. So I am going to change the Ujoints and give you yours back.. Thanks a million..
Also the axles look thicker.. I dont know why...
I will post pics in a second..

Oh .. I broke my pinion gear in half and destroyed my drivers side cv shaft..
I couldnt even get the pinion out of the axle.. Its all twisted up in the bearings..
By the way.. I need to return the passenger side axle .. (Bought it at pep boys .) anybody know anyone that works at pep boys that could hook me up.. ( Hint hint ... Nudge nudge.......)

Here is a picture of the new one... Notice almost 1.5 inches...
And here are Patricks axles... Weird only 1.15 (about 1 1/
What gives??
How did I end up with bigger axles?? Not that I am complaining .. Just wondering..
 
Either way.. Looking pretty good for finishing this on time...
