You'll finish

Not sure what the deal is ...... mine are 1.16 supposedly... Just bring em to RC ....

Your new d30 is a TJ unit? Are the other measurements the same? Length & stuff? I'm pretty curious about it too....

NO the new unit was in a 95 XJ sport.. BUt it looked like someone dropped a building on it..
The shock towers where busted right thru.. Thats why I have to cut mine off and reweld.
It was the only post 90 axle I could find. I fugured it would be easier to fix this than it would be to close off the vacum disco and this way I have useable axles as well..
Gonna get some shit done tommorow.. But I wont have access to a torch till tuesday..
Gonna try to regear the 35 tommorow . And maybe the 30 as well.. Although kind of leary of doing that then welding on the axle.. Guess I will wait.. Do it right.. I dont want another fiasco like last time..
I bought a dial indicator and a magnetic base. So I am going to be Johnny Gear set when I am done..LOL..

Thanks Kris .. I will keep you informed..

I mave made minor progress... The new axle is shaved smooth. But I need a torch to get the mounts off my old axle.. So I can reuse them.. THat should be done tonight.. And everything should be welded up . Ready for reinstall .

I am going to get 20# of chicken breast (think thats enough.) and I am working on some steak.

I will also get the stuff you need to marinate the meat .. Probobly do that Friday..
Like I said ... Worse case scenario.. Someone has to come and pick me and my meat up..

Huh huh huh....... He said Meat.....

So far I dont see anything in the way but you know how it is .. Start something and other things go wrong..

I went to the painter s last night and my hood is progressing nicely.. Looks very sweet..
I think I need some of that heat shield material now.. Dont want to ruin my new paint...

I will keep everyone updated..
Oh yeah I guess absolute worse case scenario ..... (IE something goes wrong and I have to stay and work on it.. God I hope that doesnt happen.)
Someone will still have to come over and pick up two Ice chest full of meat and marinate..

That is not even a chance right now but like I said ... You Never know.. My rig has been down now for 5 1/2 weeks and I am having serious DT's..
