You are already assymetric with the snorkel, so I don't think it looks bad at all. I just think the other side might add more functionality. Doing the passenger side might help balance you out. What about water getting in there; will that pose a problem?

Well ..... some guys have their whole hood louvered so I don't think it will be a major problem, but since I usually go the extra unnecessary step.... I decided to make a cover that can easily be removed
