its only happened twice but the steering wheel will bind up when i make a turn i can tell by the way it feels that its in the lower part of the steering not in the column inside the truck, now ive jacked it up and checked the tie rods, ball joints, wheel bearings, pitman arm, and checked to make sure the gearbox isnt coming lose from the frame. there is no play in the steering at all. im stumped any ideas?

Maybe the joint between the column & box?

Hell, maybe you're just getting a flat spot on the teeth in the gear box?

Don't worry it will lock up steering hard to the right by default....got all your topper bolts in? Might want to check that next....
