77 in a 60 + Construction Zone (Though I hadn't seen any sign on construction for at least 5
miles or more)
Glad I reached up in time to puch the monitor close button on the TV before he saw that too.
Clocked me while driving towards me on the service road as I was passing a car............

anything that stands in its own crap all day is FILTHY
I HATE PIGS they are worthless, no one needs them. you can keep your streets safe by yourself
i hate pigs!
btw rob.... i was told they have a suspect in the burglaries in your area.... a warrant has been issued.

They risk their lives every day to keep the streets safe for civilians..
How can you say that.!!! How can you call poice officers pigs... That is terrible ..
If they heard you say that they would take you to CIA headquarters and insert mind control devices in your rectum.
You should respect the police.. THey are there for us...

its a generalized racist statement i know. now i dont know you and you dont know me, maybe your diferent i dont know but until i otherwise meet a cop who is not a worthless piece of shit my opinion will not change and last i checked this is still america where its ok to have a difference of opinion, i never once said that i can keep the streets safe by my self but there have only been 2 instances where i needed a cop and there wasnt one either time first was a few years back someone was trying to break into my grandmothers house so she dialed 911 then called me and my dad so we went over and it took us about 25 min. because she lived on the other side of the city by the time we got there the crook had left with most of the stuff in her garage and the police had not shown up yet so my father called them again and we stuck around for a few hours to calm her down by the time we left the new orleans pig department still had not shown up. she called them again the next morning to get a poice report and we are still waiting for a cop to show up. the next incedent was a year or 2 later when i was driving down st charles av. i was rear ended by a drunk driver and i was injured but my wife was not thank god so i called 911 to make a long story short it took an hour for the ambulance to show up so i had to call a freind to come sit with my wife, so that i could go to the hospital, till the cops showed up which was 7 hours later, then just recently, im not sure as to what led up to this but a group of teenagers from the neighborhood across the hwy punched and pulled a gun on my neighbors son who is 12 years old then rode off on their bikes and kicked my car so they called the police and when they showed up they were there for about 30 seconds when they got another call and left so my neighbor called them back and they are still waiting for them to show up, so me and the kids father straped up and went looking for the kids involved, but we never did find them. now i dont do drugs i dont steel i dont kill people, yet because of the lenght my hair used to be, ive been harassed because it took me to long to get to my car from the store ive been knocked off my bike by a squad car because i fit the description of someone who just robbed a house ive been thrown in jail for 3 days because i was shooting on private property that i had permission to be on but just because the duty officer showed up they had to make an arrest, plus they conficated several thousands of dollars worth of ammo that i never got back after the charges were droped, ive been arrested for shooting a person who was stealing shit from my house. so please change my opinion i realy do want to trust cops, but i used to know a cop and he would call me up and ask me to go pick up large bags of drugs, that they had takken from someone, so that he could come by later and pick it up for a party they were going to have, with this being the type of cops ive met how can i like them. if your different then thats great i hope we can meet maybe become friends and you can show me that there are good cops. chances are rob deserved the ticket he got all i was doing was stateing an opinion and i dont need to say I HATE PIGS to be tough, if you still need more reasons why i hate cops i can give you about a half a dozen more instances but i felt as though the list was long enough, now im a plumber feel free to talk about but cracks and all the other things that plumbers and construction workers are known for

i dont have to change your opinion or anyone elses. im not going to take up for nopd.
i will say ive been to calls that are hours old. ive seen calls held for 5-6 hours. ive seen cops lie unconcious for the same 20 minutes for an ambulance to show for them as you.
you (i mean public, but i'll generalize YOU like "pigs") call the cops cause your blood pressure is up and you are diabetic and you ate a whole wedding cake and washed it down with some whipping cream. because our society provides you with free health care and emergency services then thats one less ambulance for YOU or the "pigs". multiply that a few times and see where the response time goes.
the calls here are dipatched by priority and assigned "codes" 1-2-3. Code three is life or death and the situation is critical. for instance a store that is being robbed is code 3, a store that has been robbed and the suspects left is code 2 (no injuries). so take a car flipped on the mississippi river bridge thats on fire and thats code 3, so the code 2 robbery would be SECOND in line to get dipatched, all things being equal.
factor in the poorer sections of town call in that everyone has knives and guns and sticks........... so they can get there call to code 3 and in actuality its a verbal arguement between two 10 year olds. once again there goes the call order.........
also factor in the elderly community here calls in "someone is at my door, someone is jiggling my door knob...." ALL the time. again these calls take up police from actual people needing help.
ive been to calls where they smoke crack and thier chest hurts and they need help.... that takes two cops and one ambulance.
ive had hundreds of NON police nature calls. You sound like an OK guy. If a buddy of yours comes to your house, gets drunk and cusses your wife out, you tell him to leave and he wont, do you:
A) call the police to remove a drunk man that is refusing to leave
B) make him leave whether he likes all his teeth or not?
A) is what they do here. AGAIN 2 units tied up.
Now lets look at the other end.
i speed down the interstate at 80 mph with NO lights on because YOU cant seem to get out of my lane when i turn them on and because i know your granny and she dont BS call. As i rush over there another unit gets there first and im not needed, so i slow down get off the exit and stop to use the bathroom at circle K. I get reported for speeding and guess what! i get suspended, or lose my unit.... hmmmmmm
i speed to your grannys house and she is screaming bloody murder when i get there and he flees through the backyard. I catch him, tackle him and we fight, he gets hurt. he complains to IA and says i used excessive force, but where is granny at my IA hearing when i get suspended to say she was SCARED to death? instead he claims he was there looking to cut the grass and was at the wrong house and he was afraid of the police so he ran
i walk into a circle K and two people are arguing. I knock one of them upside the head and spray the other with pepper spray and handcuff them with very little said. YOU run to IA and tell them i used excessive force on two people arguing for no good reason. do you think that i met them last week when they knocked my partner out? or that i fight them every time i see them, so this time i hit them first?
you being a plumber has to have put you in some bad areas, bad houses and bad people. would you go to those places for 10- 14 dollars an hour? I KNOW I TOOK THE JOB. im not lazy, and dont hide form calls, im scared to death i wont see my family ever again while i help save a crack head from dying from gunshot woundsfor 30000 a year after 6 years. and thats not takehome. i takehome 1500 a month. after taxes (yes I pay my salary too).
do an internet search for my name. LEE ALESSI. ive been in the news, robbers rapists and murderers I like the job, i just get tired of NO APPRECIATION. you would think that all of the negative interaction with the public i woulg generalize YOU and say "I HATE THE PUBLIC" after all i bet i can go 10 stories to your 1 story of every time YOU have not been there for me
im always too little too late when YOU are the vitim, until im dealing with YOU, the SUSPECT and then its TOO much TOO fast.
for the amount of money police are paid i am not suprised by the lack of ability, dedication or professionalism that many exert. I in no way advocate doubling a salary will get more work, it will only help the new hires.
ive been on 6 years and have ONE IA complaint. ONE . I was accused of stealing 6000 dollars cash from behind a dasboard of a van that we allowed the drunk to have a friend drive home. and NO i didnt do it

i agree your job is tough, thought about doing it myself at one time but i didnt feel like putting up with all the bs you guys put up with. but its like i said i dont know any good ones i used to work with 2 x-jefferson parish cops, both guys were dickheads and i heard alot of stories, i know you dont need to defend nopd i am just looking for someone to change my opinion of police and you maybe a good person to do so since we have a common interest(4x4). and all i have to say is damn man you type fast i checked the board and no one was on then a minute later you had this hole response typed up oh yeah and to answer your question id answer b) been there done that, i always try to solve a problem myself and not involve the police, once someone hit my truck while i was in the movie theater so i called the police and told them to take their time i gave them my adress and said ill be home in a few minutes and ill be there all day some come by when you get a chance

like i said i dont judge you. i refuse to defend dirty cops. i think if a cop commits a crime he should be arrested! not allowed to resign.
if i was chief........
the problem is i dont know where i could find 600-700 working cops. then again, if they would work i bet you wouldnt need 600
i have arrested high school friends, my nephew (dwi) , and a groomsman (4th offense dwi and agg flight) in a wedding that myself and another cop are in the wedding (the other cop is the groom)
i have yet to have my ass kicked or hit behind turf i was defending, or over my family. ive broken 3 fingers and been beat on for plenty of petty stuff....
ive said it once and ive said it again..... ill get fired for doing my job, not shirking it.
ive got 10 stories for your 1 story on crappy cops too.
that being said.....
i dont harass anyone, not the ricers or the 'wheelers. i let you dictate my actions. you would be surprised how fast your actions result in a reaction that you cant stand....
instance?
i stop you for speed ing and no seatbelt. i tell you you will get ONE ticket only. more people than you think insist that they were wearing thier seatbelt, so they wont take that one........
but i digress. lets wheel! im out of money and cannot finish my truck (im not clipping money or drugs either)
