Didn't you say you wanted to put a d30 in the front of your exploder? Guy in La4x4 club has a leaf sprung one that you may be able to buy off him ... or he might not want anything for it....

Hey guys im the one who has the dana 30.
Ill give you all the details.
its from a 1994 Jeep YJ and has about 80,000 miles, 3.55 gears (working), I pulled one of the wheel bearings because mine went bad.
If you want just the housing with gears - knuckles, and axle shafts $25
The shafts are the smaller u-joints and probabally need to be re-worked so if you want it all - the one wheel bearing assembly ill take 100 (the shafts are usefull to me as spares thats why the high price. Also to use these shafts you have to have the diconnect working with vacume or posi-loc. So you may be better off with TJ shafts to get rid of the dico, all you would need is to change the seals.
My email is [email protected], and you can call me at home at 225-715-7560. If the prices are out of line let me know. |

Yomie, we have ... well..... Carl owns but I have some extra bearing/hubs. I'm sure hew would let you have/buy one. So all you'd need are shafts....and whatever gearing....

I'm really interested in this axle, so Patrick and Carl, since i'm not the big Jeeper i'm going to need your help getting parts and the axle together....is that cool
I'm already working with a buddy for my mounts and steering box, i think the steering witll be the worst part, once i rid the axle of the vacume stuff.
I could use springs out of a 70s wagoneer or some 4.5" Jeep springs
This is a shot of an X like mine with a HP D30 from a 92 YJ with 70's wagoneer springs SOA
HP D30 with 4.5" Rubicon Express springs SOA
