jeff you gonna be at the m&g? i dont have a micromiter but harbor freight has them at a decent price
josh you gonna bring that spindle and stuff this weekend? if so i can have it changed out and get you my stuff either at the bbq or if one of us makes the drive between now and then

I have a few mics.. and a slide rule and a depth gauge and ......Well I got some crap...
He can do the axle at your house with it in the rig or on the ground.. You will need a master rebuild kit..They are easy to find.. You will also need to make sure the bearing is pressed on to your new pinion.. (shop by my house does it for $5) and the shim kit comes with the rebuild kit...
ITs really not that hard... BUt I am not compatent yet... Maybe after I watch him do yours...
