just took some measurements...one more time out she comes....off a total of 2 1/4 inches over all....gotta move them back out 1 1/8" each..... not much but enough to scare me on what that 1 1/8 is doing to my spring geometry....

Well it looks like Josh is having a hell of a time with his truck... cut the perches off again, remeasured, rewelded, got the shock mounts on, and got the axle back under the truck only to find out that he was off a 1/2" on both sides.......

rob got it right....gotta grind and reweld the perches YET AGAIN!.....getting lots of welding practice in...maybe tomorrow will be the final product....was measuring around the diff housing by myself...and was 1/2" off...so each spring perch needs to be moved out ward 1/4" or 1/2" total between the two...DOH! ....got the front bumper mounted (thanks patrick, got the rear rubber lines done...the front steering arm drilled and fitted, and the axle shock mounts done...

the shock mounts were a pain in the arse...hard to hold them in place...I gently held them with the welding gloves and tacked them to the taxle tub and then rotated the axle tube where i could weld them good....found that the setting of 90 blew holes in the shock mount material as it was quite thin 75 did likewise to the existing hole 60 was a little cold but i found a decent technique for good penitration and they will work for the shock mounts, although they aren't pretty at all....

long pain in the arse day...driving it the 15 ft i did today with it lifted was probably well worth it...

did I mention why such a rush.....turns out my land lord isnt very happy with me right now..its been a month, they are trying to sell the property and said the last two petential buyers were scared off by my colaboration of parts, buckets and tires
