Rob and his fiance jill got into a little accident tonight. The air bag never deployed on either side and the jeep had no doors on it at the time. Rob walked away with a bruised shin, Jill was ambulanced to the hospital. I made it theri just after work to see her into her room, with patrick, and a few others...she is alright physically but her upper and lower back are causing her pain.. ... Sounds like the bronco may be put back into use... Let us know if you need anything rob.

I hate other drivers ... (present company excluded)
Jill seemed in good spirits and I think she'll be OK ... especially once se gets some drugs. Not sure of the condition of his Jeep, it didn't sound good or too bad but I almost hope it's totaled, that way he won't have problems down the road. They are never the same once you smack em good once.
Good thing rob has like 4 cars in the driveway.

We are at home. Jill is gonna be sore tomorrow. Yeah it was right in front of the Chinese Place over here. The guy started making a left across Nicholson, stopped like he saw me, then pulled out right in front of me. I barely had enough time to lock up the brakes. Dead center of the Jeep hit on the space between the cab and bed of the pickup. So Jill's side got the cab side being why whe is hurting more then me. Her cell phone went from being in her jacket pocket to being in front of the Jeep. The guy driving the truck reeked of alcohol and the officer said he passed the sobriatiy test. I think the guy had a drink in his lap becuase it looked like he pissed himself and he was clearly not thinking straight. I'll be heading to the wreckingyard to take pictures tomorrow if anyone wants to tag along. I want to thank everyone that came out. Too bad we didnt have a camera so we could of taken a picture of Jill in the hospital bed with her "Delta Chapter" shirt on.
Ya'll missed the best part though. She actually told the EMS that they needed better shocks on the Ambulance and that they should let us get a hold of it.
Lee I'll take any kind of help you can give me. I was planning on giving you a call tomorrow anyway. The wierd thing is that I didnt get any kind of accident report or nothing. They didnt get a report from me or Jill. Im pretty sure the guy told the cops that he was completely at fault. Before I could even get done getting my stuff out of the Jeep the cops were gone.
Josh I might need some help getting the carb on the Bronco up to par since I'll be out of a car for a while.
Well it looks like Im not gonna make it to New Orleans Saturday either that unless Im driving a new Jeep.......   |

Don't sweat it...we may be showing up in a tricked out fulltime 4wd Jeep Grand....gonna have it for a week in B.R. as a daily driver to try and sell.....

also, you should rent a car. where is the jeep? at a wrecking yard or your house? (roadrunner tows for us) call me. im in accident reconstruction school and wont get to the computer till late today. |
