If you didnt see blue spots .. You should be fine.. But worst case scenario.. Keep visine handy..
When you wake up and it feels like someone is rubbing sand in your eyes.. Just put in some visine..
The burn is because your eyes have been dried out from the heat and light.. Visine usually works..
If it doesnt..
I know this is going to sound messed up but... Put some vick on your cheeks.. (just a little..)
it will bother you a little but it will make your eyes water alot and thats what you need...
It probobly wont be that bad.. I have had some hardcore badass burn and the vicks thing worked for me..
Warning... IT SUCKS ASS.. IF YOUR EYES ARENT BURNING ALREADY DONT DO THIS..
If they are it wont matter.. It will only make it better...
Also ... Go to sleep early.. If you burned your eyes you are gonna loose some sleep tonight..

I did that ONCE about 20 years ago. After living through that night I've never done it again. It felt like someone grinding sand in my eyes with a little bit of draino mixed in for fun. But just a short flash oughta be OK. I still do short flashes occaisionally.
By the way - as an intro to everyone. I'm Doug from Baton Rouge. Lookin for a K5 blazer and selling an awesome Jeep TJ - www.crawlinjeep.com.
Hey Bowtie - I'm in IE also. Didn't attend this semester though. Starting back in the spring. Are you in one of Dr. Knapp's classes? His 4485 class will be touring the plant this semester. Students have been doing programming projects for me at the plant. |

Doug, glad to see you across on the board.... I think you'll like it here, I think I had spoke to you at one time or another on CK% before... I remember a guy in IE.....Wish I was as far as 4000 level still in the 300's my 4th year here...switched over last year...
Keep your eyes peeled on this board... BIG YELLA and a few other memebrs are scouting the area for blazers for myself as well...I'm trying to find a 73-76 to swap my stuff over to...

Oh yeah
What did I see:
a rod touch, and then this cartoonish glimpse into heaven....almost like a batman smack,,,,just a white explosion that was almost slo motion from a dot the size of a quater to this big extravigant sparkle...the purist white light i have seen, followed by a few blue speckles...didnt se spots for long...maybe 30seconds to a min...but I can feel my eyes buldging right now a little anyway
rob since you are gonna see this, goto the for sale forum and check out doug's jeep, if they total out yours his looks like a nice built candidate for the similar price
