I'm gonna have to start a web page and diary on this project...sheesh...
Well tonight I got the old perches grinded back off again for the 4th time...rewelded in the correct spot at the correct angle...4th time welded....and it all bolted right up...who would have guessed...as usual I have some normal tie ups...got the rear calipers on the disc setup mounted...runnign my 15" rims they will need a little grinding...thanks rob for the help 
the rear yoke is a pain to drill out that broken bolt so that needs fixing...whats left?
--drill and tap the yoke for u-strap
--shocks front and rear
--caliper grinding
--convert front to 8 lug
--get all four wheels balanced
--banjo bolts and test the 4wdisc setup
--oil change
--change belts
off of work until saturday....roomate is gone until sunday night monday morning so kriss if ya wanna wrench friday afternoon let me know you can crash here, that really goes for anyone...

Well it looks like I might have to come be the beer drinker this weekend since thats about all Im good for right now..... Im taking the day off tomorrow to stay at home and rest. Maybe rebuild the carb out of the bronco... They are gonna hate me at work!!!!!!! Oh well I need to take care of my back so it doesnt get any worse... Let me know when everything is gonna happen and I'll head over after work on those days....... |
