okay, I'm supposed to be getting hubs for christmas but before my parents go out and get them I decided to pull off the cover and dial to make sure the hub really is broke on the right side, good thing I did, nothing appeared to be broke, but I did find a problem. You know the gear that gets pushed over the other gear (or whatever you wanna call it) when you turn the dial? well the grooves and teeth aren't lining up which is why my right hub isn't working, will taking the hub totally out, then turning it till they line up and re-inserting it work?

not exactly sure, all I really know is that they're warn standards, when I push the gear and let go it's being pushed back out so I'm guessing it does have a spring in there, I tried to pull the hub but never could get that first ring out of it, gonna try again tomorrow, I don't have any picks to get at that ring, everything looks good in there, only thing I can see is that the teeth and grooves won't line up, I'll probobly end up fiddling with it around 1-2a.m.
