I found a Dana 60 front Hoss, and I was wondering what ya'll thought of this price. I was quoted $1200 for the axle and $295 for shipping. How does this sound? Should I just wait for a better deal?
This is what I've been using for reference.

Does this seem doable? |

unless its complete and built well hold out, i seem them local for 1200 and cheaper....for one that you have to buy nothing else thats a good deal...I've seen them as low as $900 with few mods needed

So I should hold off then? From what I understand this is a fairly rare find. I've also been told the 78/79 Dana 60 will be the "easiest" swap. |

JR, Lee is right on the money with the pirate bb. You can find anyhting your looking for on that for sale forum. I would hold out for the EXACT axle/gearing/ suspension/ steering etc.. because eventually it will pop up. Good Luck... |

If I get new axles, I'm keeping 44"'s. If I can't get new axles, I'm going down to 38.5"'s.
And yes, I am currently running 5.13's. |
