Hmmm, looks like you can go pay $10 to play in the mud almost anytime they don't have an "event" ..... Maybe a few of us should head out there to see what's up....

I still have no way to get the beast there at the moment, and I have to change my either my wheel bearings or inner spindle nut bearing on the passenger side for the right hub to work right

Yes, we need a field report. Atleast SOMETHING (i.e. legal) to have a little fun in. |

I think there might be somewhere in centerville like 15-20 minutes from my house, cause this guy I know said he only goes mudding there and in mississippi cause everywhere's else is illegal so that place must be legal, and by Jan 1rst I can get the bronco there, since it's not far I could probobly get a tow bar from my uncle and my pops would probobly let me tow it with his truck since it isn't far, I could ask the guy this week and also see if he'd be interested in joining us, he has a 78/79 F150, 4" lift, 35's, and a remaned 400M, also has a nice bronco but it's only a street / show truck

thanks rob, I really appreciate it, it's gonna be awhile before I can fix the whole oil sprayin out the crankcase filter thing, which is why I never took it outta town when I had it on the road, unless someone wants to bring some tools and help me start pulling it apart one weekend to see if we can find a clog somewhere but that's alot of work and I don't expect anyone to do all that for free, but that's one of the main reasons I didn't take it outta town when I had it on the road because I loose so much oil once it occurs, plus either my sending unit is out, or my float is just bad, so since the beast burns so much gas I feel uneasy about long trips, but gonna try to figure that out this week, and the reason it's not on the road now is I don't have money for insurance at the moment, but I'm really gonna crack down on getting a job tuesday, my old boss is always asking me if I wanna deliver pizza again so I'll probobly end up doing that a lil bit, it's money, whatever I have to do to get a tag and insurance back on it, anyways I'm getting pretty much everything I need for it to be offroad worthy for christmas, I'm getting new axle pivot bushings, extending my vent lines, changing all the bearings on the passenger side front tire so the stub shaft lines up properly, headlight switch, windshield wiper switch, 3 1/2 ton floor jack, four finger spindle nut socket, hopefully four tow hooks and a strap, might go ahead and change my gear oil in the front axle, and a few other things I can't remember, I have a long list at home, basically blowing about $300 into it for christmas plus the $100 I'm getting this friday for painting trim on someone's house, I was gonna use the $100 for a fender or two but maybe I can find a better use on the truck for it, I'll have everything I need for it to be offroad worthy by christmas day so if anyone wants to come over and lend a hand one day/weekend after that it'll be much appreciated and I can provide beer for your troubles
See the front right tire, that's because of my axle pivot bushing and bearings, not good, when looking at the bushing from under the truck it looked so damaged I can probobly push it out with my finger with no effort when I take that bolt out

Memories Keep your eyes out for an EFI motor or get ready for a rebuild!!!!!!!!!
Once you get part way into it you might as well go through the whole damn thing. |
