Well then here:

"The new hooters will host the La4x4 Show N Shine. (Clean 4x4 not required)

Where: Siegen Lane Hooters (next to Arbys, South of I-10)
When: Sunday Nov 23rd
Time: 12:00 till they chase us off

The conservative Hooter Girls will be serving us on our very own reserved patio.

Happy hour prices beer ($1). Each 4x4 owner can get 20 wings at the price of 10.

We have permission to bring out the club ramp to test our flex. (so who has it?) "

In reality, sounds like fun, but do to local unplesent confrontations with a organization/company closely related recently, I care not to contribute to some of their fun. Lance and the buss guys and numerous others make LA 4x4 more of a club but on top of the monarcy Maybe if I had a heep I could snoop around in disguise, besides having great finacial backing and contacts in high places I don't think they deserve to be called Louisiana's 4x4 club, not near diverse enough in my opinion. Grab a newsletter and prove me wrong...

Come out lurkers and flame away

I might take a ride over there. But the last few times I've met some of those guys I haven't been impressed with their offroad knowledge enough to put up with their ego. I've also met some pretty cool guys over there too, like the bus crew Still, might be fun just see the trucks and hooters girls

I would have to agree here. What confrontations are you speaking of?

I think the idea is to get along. I try to make 2bb meetings when I can. I think its safe to say we all enjoy checking out one anothers rigs......regardless of make/type. I agree that some in the club are very set in their ways, but I feel important issues have to be tackled head on and the best way to do that is with a United Voice. If you don't like someone, fawk it, don't talk to them. If you think someone is an offroad retard, fawk it don't talk to them. I take a good deal of pride in the fact that I don't believe I know it all and don't expect others to either. If you show me the errors of my way I will gladly listen. There are egos everywhere, sometimes you just have to know how to deal with them. Now bring yer shit out and eat wings and drink beer in the company of some ladies, or stay at home. I, for one, am not going to stereotype anyone or exclude anyone. If you don't like the newsletter, join up, write an article and send it to me and I'll submit it. Proactive wins over non-active everyday. Look at the greenies taking our land from us left and right. Change ain't easy folks.
