Need Support So We Can Wheel
Recently a law was passed in Louisianna to remove landowner liability for ATV's. We are working with a LA. senator to amend the law to allow fullsize vehicles. This has been done in several other states.
We (members of LA4x4) have created an online petition for out of state residents to sign to show their support for this amendment. Out of state groups traveling to Louisiana has the potential to provide significant economic impact to the Sportsman's Paradise and this is an EASY way for fellow off-roaders to show their support!

All I would like you to do is go to:

http://www.petitiononline.com/LA4x4/petition.html
and enter few pieces of information!

Please fill out the petition with accurate information. Most of the land our club rides on is private property. With current laws our club is having a difficult time finding liability insurance because of this we have not had an in-state club ride in several months. With this law ammended we should be able to easily find coverage.

Please distribute the link above to everyone you know! No matter where they live, we want their signature!

Thank you for your help and feel free to pass along any questions to laoffroadpetition@yahoo.com!

Thank You,
Lance aka Greddy

Edit: If you are an LA native please use http://la4x4.com/petition.htm petition form

So, if we are not an LA native, nor in the Delta chapter, why did you post this here?

THere is a seperate petition for out of state 4 wheelers..
YOu can sign it and they will assume you want to come to La. Wheeling..
Which you do want to do.. Dont you...

I can take you to Bourbon street to party if you come here to wheel..

Just trying to get as many sigs as possible.. If we can get this passed it could open up a world of possibilties for us. We dont have an ORV in this state at all right now.. We have to drive 3 hours to the closest one..
Thanks ..

Carl

No pics yet. Haven't made any progress yet. Life is at full throttle right now. Hopefully things will slow down enough in the new year so I can get it done.
