Went to the yard where Josh finds all his Diamonds in the rough.I found a Dana 44 in an Older Full Size Jeep Wagoneer.Had Turbo 400 tranny and Transfer case.It is 6 Lug , don,t know if it will work under my Blazer or not.Wasn,t much else out there in the way of 4x4 stuff. |

On old gentilly blvd. at Bills J/Y they have 2 Blazers w/Dana 44's in them there.

Carl, 6 lug chevy is the same as 6 lug waggy. There are also some 8 lug 44's on old j20 pickup's that go cheap, they even have flat top knuckles.

I've seen that one and the dodge you missed against the fench with a d44 and flat tops, neither in my opinion are worth the trouble, the dodge was geared 3.07 the waggy is more than likely 3.55.......both would need to have some cash dropped on rebuilding them which = $
I came across a few articles this week of converting 2wd to 4wd and everything i've read says dont waste all the time just track down a 4wd frame.....title stays with the cab anyway
