I guess I forgot to put a lock nut on my track bar.. Soooooo...
It fell off on the way home..
Just cruising along when I heard a ltwo thumps under the truck.. Then a dragging sound
followed my my steering wheel turning to the right about 90* I pulled to the shoulder and my track bar is on the ground...
Took the nut off my steering stabilizer and put it on track bar and drove home...
Total cost 17.99 for a new Heim joint and .97 cent for a grade 8 nut and .47 for a couple of lock washers..
Thanks to Muddie Jeep for getting lost and ending up behind me . 
I had a very limited tool box with me... I used his trailer ball as a hammer to beat the heim back into shape to bet me home...
Didnt have a camera so no pics ..But when I replace the heim this afternoon I will get a picture of it..

Broke a U joint so I was unable to make it there. I don't know if this counts as carnage for the M&G or not but, I just wanted to let everyone know I was trying to make it there.  |

im glad i could have helped. when i brought my g/f home i ended up breaking my driveshaft by her house, but it is fixed and ready to run. it broke because the traction bar broke and let the axle spin putting the driveshaft in a bind. |
