Picked up my YJ d30 yesterday ... and what to my wondering eyes did appear? Some spare shafts & an arb 
Yup, axle had an arb in it.... it is used and needs a little work (some broken bolts) but with a little TLC should function perfectly. Internals look great. Anyway, Carlito has first pass at it (we are probably gonna trade some stuff).... but if he passes I'll let you other d30 folks know. Also got a ton of spare d30 shafts now & a few d30 dissconnect parts that I'm gonna try to sell off.
Now I'm just waiting on my leaf springs, brackets & need to go buy some seals, taps & misc drill bits. Hope to be able to do all this within the next 2 weeks.
Tomorrow Josh & I are gonna take a swing at that trailer.... hope to get that done so I can clear out some room for the leaf swap.

Patrick.... That is awesome... Are you converting that 30 with the stuff off of your XJ??
Locking hubs and such..
Just wondering..
I am about to start some major project next weekend (assuming time is good for Jeff) I am makeing some rock sliders for Jeffs truck.. And probobly the next weekend ( assuming same) I will be makeing his front and rear bumpers..
Jeff . We need to hook up so I can show you the drawings I have made for your bumpers..ANd Sliders..
Also somewhere in there I am going to make ..Safari Doors for my ZJ.. That is going to be totally bad ass... Gotta order some gussets from Blue torch Fab ($5.99 Each ) for the corners..They are already laser cut with the Iron cross in them..

The square hanging off the back is the latch for the door and the square on the cross brace is for the handle..
I am going to try to rob a ZJ of its latch and handle at a Junk yard.. (Probobly could use the latch form anything they are all the same..
THe hardest part I am forseeing is the hinges.. Not sure how I am going to do that. Might have to find some really heavy duty hinges and drill holes to match my stock hinges.. That will all come in time..
The cut down part in the front is for a rear view mirror. I am gonna get some YJ mirrors and mount them right to the tube .
Eat , Drink, Mud... What else is there?

Yup. Gonna use the hubs at least. Gears & locker too if I can sell my d30 empty. If not then I'm just gonna sell it loaded & deal with gears & new locker later on when I get some $$$. If I keep the gears & such, I guess I'm gonna need to get the gear install kit for the pinion (bearings & crush sleeve).... since I'm installing them in a different axle.
I'm probably going to just focus on getting the axle under there with the steering & hubs & worry about the gears later......
You have any extra carriers & spiders laying around?

Hey Patrick is the XJ HP? if so i would reuse your gears and such, as far as my carrier goes, it is a 3.55 and down carrier, the carrier is about worthless (trophy piece maybe) but i want the spiders for spares. What year did the spare shafts comeout of, if they were '95 i will probably take some (larger joints in '95, 297) if the are pre '95 they are only 260 joints.

They are out of a YJ so I assume them to be older than 95 ... but I'll probably let Yomie claim them since his is dissconnect still....
