Well I just got off the phone with Dub and he needs me to get the 79 out of his yard by this Sunday. If anyone wants to help me out let me know. I need to find a place to put it or a place that we could tear it aparts in a day or so. I only need to get the axles and the Transfer case. JR do you need anything. The hood and the grill are in good shape. It has that huge fromt bumper on it too. If I can get a place to store it for a few days and tear it apart. I can rent a trailer to get it there. But I dont have a vehicle that can pull that kind of load. Josh sounds like he is gonna be busy the next few days so if anyone else has a fullsize truck that wouldnt mind pulling it let me know......
I need all the help I can get. Looks like I might have to take Sat and/or Sunday off to take care of this. Once its torn apart I guess I'll just haul the frame and whats left of the body to the scrap yard. |

I'm kinda new to this place but i'd help by pulling it on friday or saturday if you can get my gas. I've got a 78. What kind of trailer is it. Also if your just looking to get the axles i'd like to see if you could through in the flange off the rear diff. I ripped a u-joint last week and although it's still working i took some slight damage to it. You can reach me at (904)424-7208 or (504)433-4603 and i'm in new orleans. A little road trip doesn't bother me. |

The rear diff that is on it is a loaner from a friend its a 8.8. I have to get it back to him. Is it the yoke that you are looking for. If so I have one off my old 9" somewhere. I have to work today so tomorrow is gonna be my game plan. Im gonna have to take the day off. Im gonna confirm on the stprage place tonight. Anyone else have a place I might be able to store it for a day or 2 while we break it down?????????????? Does anyone want anything off it or the body or frame before I scrap the thing? |

Seatbelts. If I had a place to keep the top, I'd get that too. Are any of the dash knobs still available? |

Well, my 78 is still an option for a pull truck if you can split the gas to get there and back from new orleans. I could bring my tools.
As far as the flange goes (i think some people call it a yoke also, i'm referring to the peice that comes off the rear-end and matches up with the yoke on the rear shaft) I could definately use the one off the 9" if you have it. Just give me a call if i can help. |

If youre partin it out I sure could use rear window motor assembly,If it works.
You could store it at my place but its a little far to drag. |
