I got the 4* shims in last night, with a stock bottle jack, 2 ton jackstand, and a few 4x4's
Appearance wise, it doesn't seem to have made a differece visually, lol i know its only 4* pinion looks slightly higher than vertical, very slightly
Driving it, there is a big improvement in steering responce, i ahve eliminated much understeer and turning feels more solid, i still am having the wobble at around 40, by reading other boards, i think the only solution would be a trac bar. When i get more funds, i'm gong to try to fond some 4" shackles for the front and see if that helps at all. If not, i would like to try to fab up a trac bar and see if that eliminates the wobble. There isnt' much more i could do, all the bolts are tight.
i might try to get ahold of some 6* shims, but i dunno.

I cut the ends off of my D44 and degree'd it and rewelded them back on. it made a ton of a difference. No more death wobble, at all on my CJ 5. It took about 4.5 hours because I was taking my time.
