The members of SMJC, South MS Jeep club, will not allow me to go an a run with them, nor will they let me be a member of the club, because....................................
I do not own a Jeep! Oh well forget them, you guy's are hard enough to handle as it is You know this is a Bronco forum but everyone is allowed to be a member, and we welcome all on rides, this is what a real club is about. I was just poking intrest there, since some of them live close to me and we could hang out during the week, but NOOOO. Oh well, i'm gonna stop ranting now. This message will probably get back to theirr boards, but i dont' care.
On another note, i am registered for shcool again, finally motivated to finish up this bachelors, i'm taking 13 hours this semester M-Th, i made sure i had fri's and Sats off Wish me luck!!!!

Not to split hairs or point out the obvious but South MS Jeep club may have been a clue ....
Regardless, Patrick, you left early or I couldn't find you after the meeting.....something you may want to work on with 2BB...pimping time for a multi club run.
We are having a run to Gray Rock (about a 6 hr drive) most likely in late May. We are putting up like $750 to reserve the park and are going to invite local clubs (Louisiana clubs and SMJC) to ride with us. I don't know yet if there is going to be a ride fee or not but I will let the board know as soon as I know. There is the club in North Louisiana and 2BB as well as the SWB older Bronco club...my memory sucks....anyway...any others you can think of??
SOOooooo, Yomie, here is your chance to ride with SMJC

Its aiight though, and no thanks HalfLocked, i dont' want to wheel with them now
I mean whats under alot of jeeps, D30 & 8.8 or even a 44 rear, they plan on 44 fronts, hows that any different than my setup? Its ok, if they don't wnat me to wheel cause i don't have "round lights" its ok

SOOooooo, Yomie, here is your chance to ride with SMJC | You mean Dixie Broncos I think. The club up north is Bayou Jeepers... I believe..... but anyway, Josh is the new event co-ordinator so he gets to deal with all the fun now. I demoted myself from "Grand Master of all that is 2BB Delta 4x4" to Webmaster Yeah I left the meeting a little early .... wanted to eat at home to save $$$ since I am still jobless

Keep us informed on the Run.. Maybe we could chip in on the $750 Like figure out how many are going and devide it evenly or something.. Hell if 40 people go thats less than $20 each..
ANd I think between Bayou Jeepers,La 4X4 and us.. We should be able to come up with 40 ..
Let alone SMJC and the Early Bronco Club..
I am interested anyway.. Carl

I know how you feel Yomie, I met anotherone of those types at the LA 4x4 meeting last night again, he asked patrick and I where are jeeps were Patrick pointed to his and I showed him my blazer and he asked me "Well what the hell are you doing here!!" Just another example, I stay around these parts becausewe dont descriminate, did I also mention I was the only affiliated fullsize there, and I also split when patrick did to save $ as well....Oh well difference is this isn't louisiana's jeep 4x4 club its LA 4x4

I'm sure some of us from the EB crowd will pitch in for a ride at Grayrock...our annual April ride at Grayrock will probably get cancelled, it was open to all 4x4's.........I agree about the club title stuff, I wish ours wasn't DeepSouth "Early Bronco" club.. I just want to ride and have a good time with friends... even if they have Chebbys, lol....JD |

What happened was....
Josh & I waited outside for someone who had gone to get money for some parts he was buying off me. While we were outside, most of LA4x4 went inside to the meeting... then an older guy 50s+ pulls up in a Rubicon. Well we are just hanging out, so he comes up to us to chat & intorduces himself. Nice enough guy. Then he askes us where our Jeeps are ... so I grin (cause I thought I knew what was coming) and point to mine .... and Josh points to "his" and says ... (yes this is a direct quote) ... "I'm over there in the white BRONCO... er, uh I mean Blazer" I almost lost my shyte. Course the guy says something like "What are you doing here? Well, I guess it's a 4x4" but I was already dying inside from Joshs comment & didn't feel like explainging to the guy that as long as it's LA4x4& not LAJeeps there will be non-jeeps showing up .....
