Yeah it would be a good truck name but this is more of a medical tech question. I know what frostbite is I am just wondering if anyone here can tell me the long term effects of repetative frostbite cases. Seems like everytime i'm out hunting and its below freezing I find something to forget at home and rarely make it out of the woods without feet that hurt to walk on or fingers that have made it into the water one too many times. Just saw some brief report on the weather channel in the past days and it got me wondering, what am I really facing from repeated exposure and frostbite?

Thats pretty much waht i knew already, although they call it trench foot for what i get damn near everytime....This weekend I got into my deer stand and my leather(not a good insulator) boots had ice all over them it was about 25, my hands were way numb and cold, began to ice a little as well, i know i've never had severe frost bite but once when i fell into a lake while it was 16 out and stayed out hunting another 2 hrs before i headed in because it was unbearable... that was the most painful, but it all says seek treatment, I mean what can they really do to treat stuff like that.

I got frost bite while Iwas in Michigan.. All the toenails fell off my left foot..
OWWWWWW>. That sucked.. I dont think it is a big deal to treat.. You just have to let it warm up slowly.. You know its frost bite when it hurts really bad to go in a warm room.. I have actually had to sit outside and let my hands and feet warm up slowly...

You will be fine... Stop your whining...

Seems like everytime I come on here All I hear is whining...

Just having a flashback of our old buddy..
Wonder where he is today..

Eat , Drink, Mud... What else is there?
