What is the best, easiest, cheapest way to improve my Bonco's ride? I tried new shocks but this did not do the job. I feel every bump, hole, railroad track that I hit.
Thanks for the help. |

wait? you want a softer ride???? Hmmm.....ok, well, replacing you bushing might help, but dont buy polyurethane ones, cus theyre pretty stiff....softer spring rates would help too....but beyond that i dunno, most people want stiffer rides...good luck though! |

What kind of sorry shocks did you get???A good set of offroad shocks like ProComp ES9000's or Skyjacker Nitro's will soak up alot pf the road bumps much better than the cheapie AutoZone brand. Also, try running a lower tire pressure, in the low 30's psi. If your body bushings are shot, like mine were, replacing those will help, too. |

I got ProComp ES9000's on mine and while they do give me a smoother ride, I feel and noticed the bumps in the road a lot more. Also, if you find bump steer annoying, you might wanna pick up a steering stabilizer. I single shock stabilizer is around $50 and well worth the money, if if your not a hardcore off roader. One of these will also help your handling. |
