So much for just pulling the old swapperoo on my front axles, got to inspecting the wheel bearings at a minimal, good news is that they are fine. Bad news is that one of the hubs may be shot, both draglink ends are shot, the lower ball joint on one side is shot, luckily the gears are still fine. So I'm just gonna break down the knuckles and all and rob the flat tops from my d44 since I wanted those anyway....still a royal PITA!

After pricing tires today, my mud grips will see no burnouts.

NICE!!
Here is my story. I woke up, got an early start pressure washing my axle and I find this thing must have been part of someone's bling bling project, I washed most of it off then thought about the scary steering thread and had to show you what is left of low and behold....HOT PINK!
Thinking about some showtruck wannabe queer from up north I moved along to check out my hubs, low and behold more road salt and grime
Atleast the gears were good and what they were supposed to be, guess the axles is out of an 86 if you look close you see the GM casting # followed by at dead center 10 pinion teeth and 41 ring gear teeth the month6 and the year 86
Oh boy so much to do, hopefully i can drive to the meet and greet

Nope, haven't started the big stuff yet ...
Dropping off the axle tomorrow .... hope to at least get everything painted & ready during this weekend. Will probably try to get the hangar on as well since I didn't get to do it this weekend....
