check it out!!
my new amp finally came in today!
as many of you know i have been having trouble with my vintage Sunn amp. its showing its 35 years and is in need of a complete rebuild.. well i cant tackle that at this time.. so i was out an amp capable of stage volume.
well luckily i talked to my friend that owns a guitar store.. and arranged some stuff.. and now i have an amp! 
its a Hughes and Kettner Duotone. 
i put down $1400.. only $1500 and some change to go.

seriously, that is a seriously cool looking rig! I am out of the loop all things musical except for what I own, but it looks like you have superstar equipmemnt now!! 
Ask him what can he do for a brotha looking for a 2x10 or 4x10 bass cabinet in the 4 ohm variety please

i know its top-o-the line as far as tone goes.. at least to my ear.... and alot of other people that are much bigger than me. lol *cough* Rush *cough*

were going to send HK a promo pack and pics of us using the gear professionally. maybe they'll throw us up on their site with the likes of Rush, Elton, 3 Doors Down, Bon Jovi.. etc
what kind of cab are you looking for? if you want top of the line tone, id go for HK or SWR. maybe one of these:

The HK will be markedly more expensive than the SWR because of the exchange rate. (made in germany.) But they are both comperable in tone. The SWR will be more middy and articulate than the HK but the HK will hit you like a rocket powered mining truck full of lead and cheerleaders.

Those are some sweet cabs Joe, as much as I would like that stuff, im just a 1 man band in my bedroom nowadays, so that means Peavey stuff  hhehe
