I have a 91 Bronco with a solid 4.9l but I want to convert to a 302, or 351. Does anyone know if this is an easy switch, or is it hell.

not too sure about how hard the switch is but definitely go with the 351W. Jasper motors has a 351W engine with about 395hp that runs around 3k. But from what I have heard from people that bought and installed the motor that it is a pretty complete kit.

I have just finished a 4.9 to a 351w conversion. today to be exact. the bell housing clutch bolted right up. i changed the motor mounts, radiator, throttle linkage and that was about it. however, i totally eliminated all electronics by going with an hei distributor. i have no pollution or anything. I won't be able to get mine inspected at a dealership but oh well. I was told you can keep the electronics but you need to change the computer. and put a ne ignition box on the fender well. any questions feel free to email me at kinneyboy6@aol.com.

also say you have an aftermarket intake, you can mount it on the fender well underneath the intake which is what I did with my MSD.
