I have a 91 Bronco with a solid 4.9l but I want to convert to a 302, or 351. Does anyone know if this is an easy switch, or is it hell. |

not too sure about how hard the switch is but definitely go with the 351W. Jasper motors has a 351W engine with about 395hp that runs around 3k. But from what I have heard from people that bought and installed the motor that it is a pretty complete kit. |

I have just finished a 4.9 to a 351w conversion. today to be exact. the bell housing clutch bolted right up. i changed the motor mounts, radiator, throttle linkage and that was about it. however, i totally eliminated all electronics by going with an hei distributor. i have no pollution or anything. I won't be able to get mine inspected at a dealership but oh well. I was told you can keep the electronics but you need to change the computer. and put a ne ignition box on the fender well. any questions feel free to email me at kinneyboy6@aol.com. |

also say you have an aftermarket intake, you can mount it on the fender well underneath the intake which is what I did with my MSD. |
