okay, parked the bronco last march, didn't bother putting fuel stabilizer in the tank, well the gas went stale and bertha started runnin really rough, especially when I put her in gear, well about a month or two ago I put 24 gallons of fresh gas, a bottle of carb cleaner, and enough fuel stabil for the 24 gallons, so then I fired it up and it ran rough for 20-30 minutes, then it ran fine, well now the darn thing is doing it again, so tomorrow if it ever stops raining I'm gonna pull the plugs and see what kinda shape they're in, I'm most likely changing the plugs, wires and oil anyway when I get my tax money back, also gonna see if maybe the fuel filter is clogged but I doubt that, putting it back on the road on the 19th so I need to get this thing worked out..thinking maybe the carb is gummed up some...any suggestions? questions? comments?

Thanks for the info guys, it turned out to be my plugs, I pulled one of them off and it was just covered with bad carbon buildup, I remembered that I still had my old ones, so I threw them on there, started it up and it purred like a kitten, also put my old wires on cause ever since I had put on the new ones I had a slight pop every so often at idle out the exhaust, but now it's running great, changed the passenger side valve cover gasket cause it was in bad shape, turns out there wasn't even one there! just some silicone!, gonna change the drivers side another day, it isn't even leaking so it's not that important at the moment, there's so much gunk built up in there, wasn't a pretty sight, gotta go now but later tonight I'll post pics

with the way my truck was leaking oil you can say I giving it a complete oil change every two weeks , and I think it's cause of whatever the previous owner put in there, cause I was using castrol gtx, but since I was burning so much oil my dad just started bringing me oil from work, forget what kind, I think it's mobil, anyways, it's only gonna be back on the road for about another month, then I start truck driving OTR in April, by june/july I'm putting in a remaned 400, and as soon as it's broken in I'm gonna run synthetic oil

Tore up the front yard a lil bit too, just wish I could get the freakin right hub to stay engaged, so I could go somewhere and do some real muddin'!...however the SAS after the new motor should help out
