Rob to help with the write up...
When Jeff and I arrived everyone came to meet us and we went down the landing strip where Jeffs truck jumped out of 4 wheel drive and got stuck.. He got pulled out and I started trying to fix it..while I was working on that. Someone (I wasnt there so forgive me.) Flooded his Jeep and stalled out.. That was imediatly followed by James ( I think it was.) Doing the same... SO we got Jeff into 4 and and headed in.. We started by crossing the gulley in the back of the landing strip.
I set off the rev limiter a few times and made it.. Then after we all crossed I drove us the wrong way down a trail and paid for it with a dented passenger door..
So we turned around and hit the right trail only to go about 1/16 of a mile and have to cut the trail wider for the full sizes.. Then we did that again and again and again.. Until we came out to Aligator alley.. Where we went along until we came to a huge hole that even Jeff couldnt cross..
SO Guess what... We made a bypass.. Then I dont know how but we got all twisted up and Van got up front and decided to dive into the nasty side of a hole... (Did anyone get a pic of that???)
We got Adam around him and he did no good at all.. Pulled to the side and imidiatly got stuck.. 
Then we got a few more past and widened the trail (Yes another bypass.) and Squeezed Brett thru
(cracked his step side..) And pulled Van out..
James alternator completly died at this point and killed his battery.. SO we put in Jeffs Battery and got him started (no headlights) I guided him from behind with my roof lights..(Only 2 working I dont know why..) And out we came..
While all of this was going on Rob and Josh decided to go ahead and find a way out.. They did that but while they where at it they got horribly stuck.. (Wish I had seen it..) and walked thru the woods to find the last of us getting around the nasty hole and heading back to the camp...
That is a pretty good synapsis of what happened on the night wheeling trip..
They was lots of chopping and pushing over of trees going on during our little ride..
All in all I would have to say that , this was one of the funnest rides I have ever been on.. I had a great time.. And I think I speak for everyone when I say I hope our next ride is this much fun..
Without of course the burnt up alternators and the knocking of the engines...
Hopefully next time we can actually see that big beast of Dons do something other than smoke and leak water... 
Hope this helps you with your write up.. I guess I will post the pics in image station and you can transfer them to the superford surver or whatever you do to put the ones you want on the website..

Heath got some but he has to develop them onto a disk to load them into his computer.He should have them later this week. |
