Hey guys, im not a member but i though one of you might be able to help. I have a 1981, 351w 4x4. mostly stock, except running 31's , and a few other things. my question is i had to install a new starter, so i did and now when i turn the key all i hear is a buzzing, bzzzzzzz. sounds like the gear in the starter isnt hitting the flywheel. anyone ever had this noise? my starter silinoid is about a year old, but tests ok. so do you think its a faulty starter, even though its new out of the box?
