thanks to FSB member CrazyBRONCOguy who sold me a pair of Bilstien 7100 remote reservoir shocks for a amazing price. they are 14" travel AK7114SB06 with 360/80 valving, 33.84" extended and 19.53" collapsed lengths.
while the valving is stiffer than i wanted, and the shocks were almost 3" longer than i needed, i decided to give them a try. i have been using cheap shocks for a long time and they never lasted long.

due to the shocks being soo much longer that i should have really used i to change one of the mounting positions so it would not bottom out on collapse. i could not raise the F250 towers higher due to the A/C box so i lowered the bottom mounting point.
i decided the best way to lower it would be drilling a 1/2" hole just below one of the main tubes of my extended radius arms. then use 1/2" steel bushings to extend it out from radius arm. i later welded the bushings to the radius arm for support.

i cut the old mounting tab off the radius arm so it is out of the way. the shock will not be able to reach full compression without hitting the top of the radius arm but it still gives more travel than if i chose the correct length shock .
