Can anyone tell me if there was a HP or Torque difference between the 2001 and 2002 powerstroke diesels in the excursions??? Thanks

There should be no difference in power between even the '99 and '02. You probably know they haven't made any major modifications engine-wise until '03 when the introduced the 6.0L Powerstroke.

So... to answer your question, no.

Wasn't it early 2002 that the increased torque was introduced? They even put stickers in the back glass of Super Duty's touting the increased 525lb's. I don't think the Excursions got it.

And I'm not sure when or where, but didn't the auto's get detuned slightly at some point?
