I am having problems with my rear ac. The condensation is pooling up inside the compartment and comming out on the carpet soaking it. I am afraid it has been down there for a while since I have a husky liner in the back and did not find it till recently. Any one have a similar experience? Let me know

It has to do with the routing or length of the drain tube running from the bottom of the blower unit. If it's too short to pop through to where the cooling AC lines enter from underneath the condensation will drain inside.

Look inside where the blower unit is,the drain hose just might have to be poked through a hole that should be there for it to drain outside normally.

An alternative would be is to run the truck with the rear air going full cold and watch for that elusive drip

It is coming from hoses that are insulated and seems to be slipping through the seams. I am going to take it and see if it is covered by the warranty. I think if they rewrapped it that would solve it.

100% of the cold charge line is underneath the truck facing the pavement running from the engine area all the way back to a 90 degree turn straight up to the Heater/AC unit, and to call what's on the cold charge line "Insulation" is actually an insult

After looking at the problem I have come to the conclusion that it is a design flaw. The rear heat exchanger box that the cooling lines go in to and that the drain comes out of has the drain hose coming out at the same level. This comes to the next problem that it is not so much the line sweating, but the seal on the box that is leaking to the outside. and running down the cooling pipe to wherever it can get out instead of going down to the drain tube. I checked the drain tube and it is not clogged and is draining some.
