Should I buy a 2001 Ford Excursion Limited 6.8 v10 that has 127,512 miles? I don't have the budget for a 7.3 and I know the 6.0 has problems so would this one be the best choice? Thanks in advance guys

I have a 2001 V10 and it still runs great at 161,000 miles!
If it has been in good care and the price is right, I would consider it.
One thing to look for would be the exhaust manifold bolts. They are prone to rust and eventually need to be replaced. Not an easy job but can be done if you are mechanically inclined.
Good luck!

Thanks, the gas mileage is pretty bad I know, but I also saw a 2001 7.3 with 283k miles on it for a great price, but I don't know what to look for technically on that one
