Do we or does anybody no why Ford changed caliper location on the RR?

They are now both on the rear of the axel.

I noticed this from my 00 to 03.

I asked a friend who does a lot of work, I will quote him:

"Asked a tech same question and his answer was the brake lines were getting bent on the calipers that were in front of the axle. Rocks were bending the lines. He said there was a TSB at one time that put a shield in to protect the line on the trucks."

After he explained it to me, it makes sense.
