Sweet, I will be at Woodward also, at Mustang Alley in Ferndale, I am volenteering and will be there with my 68 white Mustang Fastback. When I get a buyer for the Bronco I will look to see what X's are out there. My wife loved a 2001 4x4 limited with moonroof and tv, 44k miles on it for 23K, forgot if it was 5.4 or v10.

I'll have mine sitting in the Starbuck Coffe parking lot north of 13 mile during the Woodward cruise. I'm using it to pull a trailer full of setup gear for the display. Its burgandy with tan lower, leather, 6 disc, V10, and the rest. Stock except for the exhaust (Jardine cat back). I bought it with 8000 miles - - its got about 35,000 on it now. I'd like to get 25k or so - - it still looks and drives nice. I am intending on buying a newer one before Ford stops selling them - - this is the last year fro them, and I don't want a little "sissy" truck |

K Bigs,
Wow!! 2 Excursions.....you are probably #1 on the Sierra Club hit list!! How do you like your new X compared to the old one? Any major differences? Do you drive both regularly or leave one at your cottage? Do you ever go up to Hessel or Cedarville? My family has been spending summers there for about 10 years.

Tom,
Yea were on the Sierra Club hit list. No, keep them both in Detroit. We have 5 kids and 2 dogs. I want to use the new one more, but wife does'nt want it to lose the new car smell yet, you know fast food and dogs.
The 03 rides better out of the box than the 00. It has decent shocks and the rear sway bay, but the steering is a little slow. It wanders. I may add poly-ureathane front sway bar bushings and a better steering stabilizer. The BFG Rugged T/A's I'm not sure about yet, they are 10 ply but still don't grip like the KO's. First trip up north with the 03 got 14 mpg. We've been through Cederville and Hessel on the way to Drummond Is. Another nice part of the UP. |

Isn't Michigan that suburb just northeast of Dallas?
