getting the ole coffee beans in the can sound from my 2000 v-10 when putting the go go juice to her. changed fuel stations and still have problem just started a couple of mile ago. |

I use 89 Octane, 87 will ping even at higher rpm's. 89 seems to work well for me. Experiment with octane ratings and you should have some luck.

tried that already and did not work. also if it was a octane problem why would I have not noticed this before? it does not happen at high rpms only on hard acceleratio. |

please try and have it scanned and see if the knock sensor has gone bad.

Try another brand of gas, sometimes a bad batch or dirty gas can cause problems.
