My wife finally backed up into something - it took a year. The bumper has a pretty good dent in it. Not sure if it can be repaired , probably have to replace it. Quote from dealer is $450. If it needs the reinforcement then add another $130.00. Looks like it might need it because the bumper is all tweaked - not level. Anybody know of any custom bumpers available. I looked into putting a new X bumper on ( 03 and 04), but the dealer said they are not compatible with the 00 X. One thing for sure - I am installing a rear sensor kit now! |

Check out www.ranchhand.com and www.roadarmor.com both are pricey but will give the wife something stronger to push off from

Thanks for the tips. That roadarmor stuff looks like something out of madd max - a bit too aggresive for me. The ranchhand stuff I didn't really get a good look at - anybody out there installed ranchhand bumpers. It looks like it might be for cattle haulers or something. Thanks again. |

The ranchhands are VERY popular with the superduty crowd.... Especially in Texas and in the southwest! They are well made but I don't think they look that good on most excursions. Depends on what ya like.. I guess?
