Put a air charger kit on my 2000 X hoping to increase air flow. But my exhaust temp increase by 150 and the milage went down. I feel I'm not getting the increase airflow, and possible I am restricting it from the stock app. Before I put the stock air box back in and write the $100.00 expense for the new system off. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Didnt your air box have a factory airspeed sensor in it? A little red sensor? How did that make it onto your filter charger?

The air box has a hole for the sensor. It's in there and seems to be staying put.
