I am looking to get a overhead video for the X. The only brand that I am familiar with is audiovox who does not have anything larger than a 6.8, so I am told. I would like to find out if anyone has something like a 10.4 screen, how they like it and what brand it is. If you have pictures posted of it that would be great. Help me out with some options.
Thanks

Hey Wade,

I had a DVD/Video setup installed in our X when we bought it a couple of weeks ago. It has a 10.4" LCD and we're happy w/ the picture quality. I've been intending to take pictures of it and will do soon, then let you know where to see them.

Have you considered a portable that you can then take with you into any of your cars...
I know the fixed install is nice, but I saw a 10" porrtable Sony for $700... and Superb picture...

We figured we could always temp mount it in the car if we wanted, but then take it inside when the movie was not over but the drive was !

Kevin,
What type of screen is it, where did you get it and how did it fit with the overhead. I have seen the one on Mobile video 4 less, but am not real excited about thier return policy. They seem to have the only one that I have seen.

Thanks
Wade

For the money I would just purchase a Laptop computer. For $800 you could get a real fast laptop and be able to use it for other things. You can add the wireless headsets for $40-50 and just plug them in when you need them. I have a dorp down tv and vcr and wish I had just bought the laptop. Just remember you can only use it when your in the X, with the laptop you can use it anytime any where. Plus, you get a 15" or larger screen. Just my $.02.

Wade the $845 was for the unit only but they do have package deals that include the dvd player with built in tv tuner, 2 sets of wireless headphones, 1 universal game port and a glass mount antenna. Part #APK-104FB-B.... Let me know if your interested or not and will find out how much it is...

Mobile Video is what I have. I did, however, buy it through the dealership so it's covered 3/36 like the truck is. So far, I'm fairly happy with it. I will get pics of it this evening and post them.
