Greetings!
Last night, just before it started to downpour, I popped the hood of a V10 X on a dealers lot. Holy Crap! I needed a step ladder to look into the engine bay...and I'm 6'-1" tall. Sorry for the aside...
Anywhey...I didn't get a chance to locate the OF before the rain started...So I skidaddled...
I'm looking at an X vs. a 'burban and was just wondering where the OF was on the V10.
Sorry for the incoherancy today... |

I believe it is in a similar place to the suburban, underneath. I can't remember exactly, but last time I changed it I know I did it laying on my back. Hope that was the answer you were looking for? |

from the front of the truck its on the right side over the sway bar! Easy to get to! It does hold a lot of oil, so when changing the oil I punch a hole in the bottom of the oil filter to keep the mess down.
