i have a chance to buy a 2001 X limited 7.3 4x4 with everything from Ford Corp.was driven buy some Ford exec. 31k miles,(i would think it was kept up)truck will go to a Ford dealer for inspection apon purchase and serviced for anything it needs.price is 28k.should i do it?i like this deal,100k warranty available(extra)from Ford.

Gearman, Check the kelly blue book(kbb.com) and get an idea on retail/wholesale price. Check it out (th "X") from head to toe and if you like it.....what am I talking about...you're gonna love it!!! Come on and join the fun.

I checked for you as best as I could...didn't know the zip code and all options, but here's what I got: Trade in value-$27,120.00 or the price the dealer paid to an individual on trade. Retai value-$36,825.00, this should be what the dealer would have on the window on the sales lot. Hope this helps. Good LUCK!!

i bought it! i love it,its huge it handles like a whale.runs great.
i just happen to have a Suncoast Prolock converter in stock and a new TransGo shift kit in stock.hmm,what to do? thanks again for the input
